Shipping policy
Effective Date: 19 November 2025
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed on reiziger.co.nz, operated by Holland Gardening Co Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
This policy covers both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) customers.
Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or Fair Trading Act 1986.
1. SHIPPING COSTS
We ship to addresses throughout New Zealand.
Shipping fees are displayed at checkout and depend on:
- order size and weight,
- delivery address, and
- service selected.
From time to time we may offer free-shipping promotions. Any such offer will be clearly displayed and applied automatically.
Shipping charges may change, but any changes will not apply to confirmed orders.
2. DISPATCH TIMEFRAMES
Orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days of receiving payment.
Dispatch may be delayed during:
- public holidays,
- peak seasons,
- stock shortages,
- unforeseen courier disruptions.
If dispatch is significantly delayed, we will notify you.
3. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Estimated standard delivery times are:
- North Island: 2–5 business days after dispatch
- South Island: 3–7 business days after dispatch
- Rural areas: add 1–3 business days
These timeframes are estimates only.
Actual delivery times may vary due to courier network conditions beyond our control.
We do not guarantee delivery dates unless expressly stated in writing.
4. SHIPPING CARRIERS & TRACKING
All deliveries are made by reputable third-party courier partners.
Where available, you will receive a tracking link once your order has shipped.
If tracking shows a parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us promptly so we can investigate with the courier.
5. RISK & TITLE — DIFFERENT RULES FOR B2C AND B2B
New Zealand law distinguishes between consumer purchases (CGA applies) and business purchases (CGA can be contracted out).
Our shipping terms reflect this.
A. CONSUMER CUSTOMERS (B2C)
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies.
- Risk and title pass to you only upon delivery to your address, not when we hand the goods to the courier.
- If goods are lost or damaged before delivery, we will replace or refund them.
- If a parcel arrives damaged, incorrectly supplied, or incomplete, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at accounts@hollandgardening.co.
B. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS (B2B)
By purchasing for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, as permitted by section 43 of the CGA.
For business orders:
- Risk and title pass to you when we hand the goods to the courier, unless otherwise stated in writing.
- You are responsible for filing loss/damage claims with the courier unless there is a proven manufacturing defect.
- We may assist with courier claims at our discretion but are not obligated to.
If your business requires alternative Incoterms (FOB, DAP, etc.), these must be agreed to in writing before the order is placed.
6. IF YOUR ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED OR ITEMS ARE MISSING
For Consumers (B2C)
Notify us as soon as reasonably possible with:
- order number,
- description of the issue,
- clear photographs of the product and packaging.
We will resolve the issue in accordance with your rights under the CGA.
For Business Customers (B2B)
Claims for:
- shipping damage,
- courier handling issues, or
- mis-delivery
must be reported promptly and accompanied by photographic evidence.
We may require you to:
- retain the packaging,
- provide courier claim details, or
- return the goods.
7. FAILED DELIVERY, RETURNED PARCELS & INCORRECT ADDRESSES
If a parcel is returned to us due to:
- repeated failed delivery attempts,
- the parcel not being collected from a depot, or
- an incorrect or incomplete address provided,
we will contact you to arrange redelivery.
Additional shipping charges may apply to both B2C and B2B customers.
8. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
We currently ship only within New Zealand.
We reserve the right to decline orders suspected of:
- unauthorised export,
- third-party freight forwarding, or
- resale without approval.
